Hunting

Every year, about thirty millions of animals are killed because of hunting. However those animals are not the only innocent victims of this activity. About 30.000 aquatic birds die due to the lead from the cartridges fired. And thousands of dogs die when they are forced to hunt or murdered in cold blood by their owners.

The dogs used by the hunters experience a terrible suffering throughout their breeding, selection and training. Many dogs step into the traps of hunters and others are killed or abandoned when they are not useful for hunting anymore.
The reasoning of the hunters is empty and only reveals a speciest attitude which leads them to disregard the interests of the animals. It’s our duty to assure the society of the negatives aspects of hunting.
More over, sport fishing is another activity that causes the death of a large number of animals worldwide. It is wrongly believed that there is no problem in reintroducing a living fish back into the water after being fished. Many of those thrown back fish die as a result of the injuries and, in any case, there’s no justification for mutilate an animal just for fun.
